This has been a tough season that has required me to walk through many difficult things. However, one thing that the Lord has consistently said to me is: “I’m with you.”
If I’m honest, I really didn’t understand what that truly meant and during my most challenging moments the enemy tempted me to think and believe: “What good is it that the Lord is with you if your circumstances aren’t changing.”
It wasn’t until this past Wednesday, while on the phone with my Pastor, that God revealed what He means when He says: “I’m with you.”
Sometimes “I’m with you” doesn’t mean He is going to miraculously deliver you out of your current situation and everything around you is going to change into what you want it to be.
Sometimes “I’m with you” means God is with you in the storm. And because He is with you, you have everything you need (i.e. strength, courage, peace, etc.) to walk through the storm and make it to the other side triumphantly.
So, I want to encourage you today. No matter what you’re facing, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, Jesus Christ, is with you. You may have prayed and are continuing to pray but you don’t see anything changing or things are changing slowly.
Don’t give up! Don’t give in! Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep standing.The Lord will bring you out–it may be a miraculous deliverance or a hard fought battle BUT you will come out on the other side victorious!
