The end of this age is drawing near. In Matthew 24:4-14, Jesus gave us signs that will denote the end of the age. It’s evident, from these Scriptures, that things are going to get increasingly worse before the return of the Lord.
Although more trials, tribulations, and suffering is coming, we can be of good cheer because Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33).
As we see many fall away from the faith, lawlessness abound, and the hearts of many grow cold, the Church has to be who God has ordained it to be. We have to stand and endure. In the face of adversity, and even persecution, we have to do the work of the Lord and diligently fulfill the Great Commission Jesus gave us approximately 2000 years ago.
The road ahead will be difficult to travel, but with each step we have to remember that this world is not our home. We are just sojourners passing through–the joy of spending eternity with our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, set before us.
Be encouraged! God is with us and for us! ❤
