This is a time of correction, shaking and awakening for the Church. Some of us in the Church have become comfortable. However, we are not growing in our comfort. We have become stagnant and ineffective–unfit for the Master’s use.
It is time for us to turn back to God–our first love. It’s time for us to repent and go relentlessly after Him, His will, and be the Church He has commanded us to be.
It’s imperative for us, as believers, to pay attention to the signs of the time and what God is saying through them. Open your eyes to see, your ears to hear, and your heart to discern the will of God AND then respond as led by the Holy Spirit.
This is not about condemnation. It’s about correction. You can always discern the difference between God’s voice and Satan’s voice. Satan is an accuser, condemner, and snuffs out all hope. However, when something grieves God, He brings conviction and correction through the Holy Spirit. Conviction and correction come with love, hope, and an invitation to change course.
Be encouraged! God is doing something amazing in His Bride–the Church. ❤
“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew 7:22-23) (See also Matthew 25:31-46).
