It may be hard now, but one day very soon we shall feast with our King

I know it’s hard. We are living in increasingly frightening and lawless times. However, today I want you to do two things if you have five to ten minutes to spare:

First

Go outside and look up toward the sky.

“The same Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11).

The Bridegroom (Jesus Christ) is coming back for His Bride (the Church) to take us Home.

“Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all of the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:7).

Second

Close your eyes–inhale and exhale–laying all of your burdens down. Let the sun warm your face and the wind caress your cheeks. Imagine a long banquet table, as long as the eye can see. Look around and see the smiles of your brothers and sisters in Christ, listen to their laughter and join into the chorus of praise of our Beloved Jesus Christ.

The One who will give us light (Revelation 22:5), the One who will wipe away every tear from our eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away (Revelation 21:4).

Think about the unspeakable joy that will finally be ours because we will be home, for all of eternity, with our Lord, Savior, and King: Jesus Christ. ❤

“Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God” (Revelation 19:7-9).
