Are there certain things God has promised you? Are you in the midst of a transition, chomping at the bit to see what God has next for you?
Do you know what God is doing? Can you see how He’s working in your life? Or is the way before you uncertain? You don’t know what God is doing, how He’s going to do it, or when He’s going to do it.
It’s easier to trust and believe God when we know what He’s doing, and we can see Him working in our lives. However, when we don’t know what He’s doing, and He’s not telling us, our trust and faith muscles are stretched and tested.
If the latter is your reality, I want to tell you what I’ve had to consistently tell myself during this season: Wait on the Lord and trust Him.
If you’ve been waiting a long time, I want to tell that you’ve come too far to quit now. Don’t give up. Don’t give in. Keep believing.
Don’t take the bait of the devil and give into the temptation to rush ahead of God and make things happen in your own strength. Don’t forfeit or delay the promise by trying to make it happen on your timetable. Don’t bring forth an “Ishmael” at the expense of your “Isaac” (Beginning in Genesis 15).
“And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises” (Hebrews 6:11-12).
The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him (Lamentations 3:25).
Therefore, be of good courage and wait on the Lord (Psalm 27:14). He is working on your behalf. He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). In His timing and His way, He is going to give you everything He’s promised you. He’s going to open doors that no man on earth and no devil or demon in hell can close.
Be encouraged! You are loved! ❤
