The trick is that the devil doesn’t want you to see it.
Ecclesiates 3:1-2 tells us that “to everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under heaven.”
The devil knows this and that’s why he wants you to operate out of the season that you’re in. He wants you discontent and forward-looking.
He wants you to miss all of the joys of this season by focusing on the ONE thing you don’t have or the ONE thing you THINK God is not doing.
It’s a tactic to…you guessed it: (1) steal, (2) kill, and (3) destroy.
He wants to steal your joy, kill your effectiveness, and destroy the plan and purpose God has for you in this season.
You’re not a fiddle, don’t let the devil play you like that!
In Psalm 139, David stated: “You’re eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed, and in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.”
Just like God saw David’s substance unformed and fashioned (formed) all of his days, God has done the same for you.
Ephesians 2:10 tells us that “we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
So, do you see that there is no need to worry? No need to anxiously long for things you don’t have. No need to try to make things happen in your own strength, out of its season and God’s timing.
Pray and and receive God’s peace. (Philippians 4:6-7).
Rest and wait on the Lord.
Open your eyes and see the beauty in this season.
Open your heart and receive the joy that awaits you!
Be encouraged! You are loved! ❤
