Black Lives Matter to God

As a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, I believe that all lives matter. However, in America, black people have been consistently shown that our lives don’t matter. We have endured more than 400 years of racism, oppression, disenfranchisement, and discrimination. Thus, we affirm our lives not in an attempt to negate or devalue anyone else’s.

Your Weapon is a Melody

Satan is waging a fierce battle for our hope and our hearts in this season. With everything that is going on in the world, it’s so easy to pick up and carry around anger and rage like a newly acquired purse or wallet. It’s so easy to look out into the world or even at the state of our own lives and feel hopelessness. You don’t know if your life is going to change, when it’s going to change, or how it’s going to change. But you do know that it needs to change.
