The Apostle Paul prayed this prayer for the saints and faithful brethren in Colosse. I think it is a timeless prayer, fitting for all Christians. ❤️

Who is Jesus?
Jesus is God (Hebrews 1:8-9). Not only does God the Father call Him God, but the New Testament confirms that Jesus possessed every attribute of God, including: (1) Eternality, (2) Immutability, (3) Omniscience, (4) Omnipresence, and (5) Omnipotence.

Jesus is always the message
Jesus is always the message. Sadly, in a lot of Western, seeker-friendly churches this is no longer the case. Church has become about giving the attendee what he or she wants: affirming sin, jokes, entertainment, self-help motivating messages with Scripture taken out of context with a little Jesus sprinkled on top, and worship that makes you feel good instead of glorifying God, being Bible-based and God-focused.
The Danger of Presumptuous Sin
Presumptuous sin is an intentional and deliberate sinful or rebellious act committed against God. It’s a complete disregard for one’s own conscience, God’s Word, and what a person knows to be right.
When you don’t like God’s answer…
Sometimes we pray to God, and He answers in ways we do not expect. We don’t always like His answer because it’s not the answer we want.
