Jesus in the Wilderness

My heart is so full. I’ve been in a wilderness period for quite some time. I’ve had to endure suffering and discomfort–things that my flesh absolutely hate. I don’t like discomfort or suffering. This flesh that we’re all housed in doesn’t like it. However, I’ve been able to stand and endure it all because Jesus has been with me every step of the way.

Your Weapon is a Melody

Satan is waging a fierce battle for our hope and our hearts in this season. With everything that is going on in the world, it’s so easy to pick up and carry around anger and rage like a newly acquired purse or wallet. It’s so easy to look out into the world or even at the state of our own lives and feel hopelessness. No, He so loved the entire world that He sent His Son to die, not just for some people but for all people. And whosoever, not just white people or black people or rich people or poor people or perfect people or almost perfect people, but ANYONE who believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life

The freedoms that we have come to enjoy have been severely restricted or disappeared altogether because of Stay-At-Home and Shelter-In-Place orders. Satan has used the COVID-19 pandemic as an opportunity to instill fear, anxiety, despair, and frustration in the hearts of many–including believers.
