Jesus is the good Shepherd. The One who laid down His life for His sheep (you and I). In Psalm 23, King David beautifully depicts Jesus’s role as the Chief Shepherd in our lives: He loves us, cares for us, leads us, guides us, chastens us, corrects us, protects us, and provides for us etc.

Be faithful today and tomorrow…
Sometimes when we receive promises from God, we anxiously look ahead while laying down or neglecting what God has already placed in our hands. This shouldn’t be so.
Wisdom Wednesday: Do you know God’s will for your life?
It’s imperative that you are able to ascertain God’s will in every season of your life so you’re not led astray by your own lust and desire or deceived into going down the wrong path by the enemy.
It may be hard now, but one day very soon we shall feast with our King
I know it’s hard. We are living in increasingly frightening and lawless times. However, today I want you to do two things if you have five to ten minutes to spare:

You don’t know if your life is going to change, when it’s going to change, or how it’s going to change. But you do know that it needs to change.
In Search: A Poem
I’ll be the first one to admit that there have been times in my walk with the Lord that my faithfulness and loyalty to Him was like the early morning dew that quickly disappears. At times, just like the children of Israel, I played the harlot and chased after things or gave my heart to things that were in direct rebellion to God.
For God so Loved the World
One of the things I love about God is that He so loved the world, not just some of the world or only the “good” parts of the world. No, He so loved the entire world that He sent His Son to die, not just for some people but for all people. And whosoever, not just white people or black people or rich people or poor people or perfect people or almost perfect people, but ANYONE who believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life
