Jesus is always the message. Sadly, in a lot of Western, seeker-friendly churches this is no longer the case. Church has become about giving the attendee what he or she wants: affirming sin, jokes, entertainment, self-help motivating messages with Scripture taken out of context with a little Jesus sprinkled on top, and worship that makes you feel good instead of glorifying God, being Bible-based and God-focused.

Satan, the devil, will come to tempt you with the pleasures and treasures of this world. If he tempted Jesus–knowing that He is the Son of God and God Himself–know that he will tempt you too.
