How to love people. I’m not perfect. I make mistakes. I made mistakes yesterday, today, and I’m sure I will make them in the future.
When you know, you know. Jesus has saved us all from something to something…from unrighteousness to righteousness…from eternal death to everlasting life.
First things first, Jesus–through His life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension has destroyed the power of sin and death (Hebrews 2:14). He has forever demolished the power of the works of the devil in our lives (1 John 3:8).
This week, out of nowhere, it just hit me: God is my Father, and I am His daughter.
First, we know that temptation is from the devil. God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone (James 1:13).
Jesus wasn’t afraid or “too good” to be with the sinners and the outcasts of society.
He preached the Gospel to the poor. He touched and healed the lepers, the lame, the blind, the deaf, the crazy (the demon possessed) etc.
He touched them, and He let them touch Him (Mark 5:25-32).
One the hardest fights of this life is to consistently deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow after God (Matthew 16:24).
“All of the implications of the resurrection add up to the fact that the Christian church must be a missionary church if it is to meet the expectations of the risen Savior!” -A.W. Tozer
Is there anything the devil can use in this world to entice you to sin against God?
One of the things I hate most in this world is to sin against God. I.hate.it. I.hate.it. I.hate.it.
