How do I really feel about Jesus?

He is my greatest love, and I love Him.

My most supreme joy and deepest desire will be fulfilled when I am with Him for all of eternity. When I am able to look upon His face and behold His glory. When I am able to see His smile, hear His voice, and hear Him laugh. When I am able to bow my knee and confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of the Father. When I am able to thank Him, face to face, for dying so that I could live.

Being in a relationship with the Lord, has shown me what it means and how it feels to be truly loved.

Like when a man loves a woman.

Or

When a Father loves a daughter.

There was a moment after I was saved when I asked the Lord to show me how much He loved me.

Looking back on that question now, it seems so silly, but in the moment I expected a grand gesture of some sort–an extravagant fireworks show perhaps.

In my silliness, the Lord didn’t ridicule me, He spoke to my spirit and said: “I already have.”

“By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren” (1 John 3:16).

We know love because of Jesus’s finished work on the cross.

In my relationship with Jesus, He has shown me that true love:

  1. Sacrifices
  2. Is selfless
  3. Is honest
  4. Is faithful
  5. Is true
  6. Protects
  7. Provides
  8. Corrects
  9. Chastens
  10. Saves
  11. Heals
  12. Delivers
  13. Restores
  14. Sets free
  15. Is eternal
  16. Never fails

True love can only be found, received, and given in, by, and through Jesus.

It is my sincere hope that you experience the life changing and transformative love of the Savior.

It is the greatest love of all!

Be encouraged! You are loved! ❤️
